Karolina

MUSIC DIRECTOR
VIOLIN, VIOLA & PIANO TEACHER

Karolina learned to play classical violin and piano from the age of six in a full - time music school in Poland. Throughout her music training, Karolina covered all modules in music theory, history of music, Kodaly, and Dalcroze's method of teaching, and choir singing. She graduated with a Diploma in violin and piano performance.

 

As a teenager, Karolina performed with several choirs and won a silver medal in the national choir competition in Poland.

 

Karolina holds a Postgraduate degree in Teaching and Learning from the National College of Ireland. During her time in college, Karolina focused on researching and applying various teaching techniques to suit all types of learners including those with learning disabilities.

Karolina also has a Diploma in violin teaching (ABRSM), a Diploma in piano performance (LCM), and grade 8 in music theory (ABRSM). 

 

Throughout her music career, Karolina played in several orchestras and string quartets in Poland, and for many years in the Dublin Symphony Orchestra. She is also a current member of the Kodaly Society of Ireland and the London College of Music teacher association. 

 

As well as teaching, Karolina works on structuring and improving programs for early music education and individual classes. Her goal is to continue to deliver the highest quality of teaching to Keys & Strings students by staying up to date with the latest educational trends as well as organizing regular training sessions and courses for teachers.
